The next morning

“It smells good, what are you cooking?” Asia asked soon as she walked in the kitchen.

“Your favorite, bacon, eggs, grits, and hash browns. Did you brush your stanking ass breath before you brought your greedy ass down here?”

Te’ Asia giggled.

“Don’t start with me.”

“You got slob streaks on the side of your mouth, and you got the nerves to be holding a conversation with me.”

Asia started cracking up. She just didn’t know I was dead ass serious.

“Let me go brush my teeth so you can shut up.”

“The only person who need to shut up is you.”

After we were done eating breakfast, I got dressed so I can meet up with Saint. Asia didn’t want me to leave but I had to go make this paper. Ever since Asia got pregnant, she been on some emotional shit. She will literally cry when I leave her house like a big ass baby. I kissed Asia on her cheek. She began pouting soon as I made my way to the door.

“I will be back later, make sure you have that pussy ready when I get back. I love you.”

“Umm hmm. Love you too.”

I checked my surroundings like always when I leave because you never know who’s watching. On the way to my car, I saw a car black car with tinted driving slowly. I pulled my gun off my side and cocked it back.

“Something isn’t right.” A funny feeling came over my body.

Before I could make it to my car, the car sped up, and three niggas jumped out. They all had guns drew on me. That’s when I realize one of them is Tory. I aimed my strap directly at them.

“Tory, gone with that bullshit.” I heard Te’ Asia shout.

“Bitch, fuck you! Talk that shit now, Knowledge,” Tory said, trying to act hard in front of his boys.

“Fuck you, pussy! Don’t none of you niggas put fear in my heart. If you shoot me, you better fucking kill me, because if you don’t, on my mama, I’m going to kill all y’all. If you do kill me, be ready for World war 4 because my goons going to be at your neck.”

“Nigga, fuck you!” Tory and his boys cock their guns back. I knew it’s only a matter of time before they start shooting.

Pow! Pow!

Bullets started flying, and we were shooting at each other like we were in the battlefield.

“Te’ Asia, get in the fucking house!” I shouted as I bent down beside my car.

I got back up and began shooting again. I wanted to call my brothers and Vince for back up, but I didn’t have time for that right now. We were exchanging gunfire back to back and I saw one of Tory's boys hit the ground. Next thing I know, I feel a burning sensation ripping through my flesh. I’m salty. Out of all days, today I get caught without my bulletproof vest on.
